Happy Birthday JohnO

For those who did not know John, I have borrowed this photo made by John of a a few of His Favourite things.
Photo By John and Borrowed by Me.

On the Anniversary of Your Birthday
Happy Birthday Sweet Soul
You are missed by so many.

Also For those who did Know John and those who did not but like an insight into some of his thoughts, I am leaving a copy of a small quiz some of my friends and I participated in last September.
John was kind enough to join us in this little exercise, something that he said he did not do at all often. Below you can read his answers to the questions and I think these answers tell a lot about John's outlook on life.

I do not usually do these things, but since The deity and Milli are such dear friends, how could I refuse,  here you go, things I have come to realize. . .

1. I've come to realize that my chest-size ...is not very interesting.

2. I've come to realize that my job ...
was awesome, enjoyed work, great cast of characters.

3. I've come to realize that when I'm driving ...I enjoy taking different routes.

4. I've come to realize that I need ...very little.

5. I've come to realize that I have lost . . .some very dear friends over the years.

6. I've come to realize that I hate it when ...people are rude.

7. I've come to realize that if I'm drunk ...I will suffer in the morning

8. I've come to realize that money ...is a tool.

9. I've  come to realize that certain people ...you just cannot please, no matter how hard you try.

10. I've come to realize that I'll always...be curious about everything!  (have to agree with Milli on this one!!)

11. I've come to realize that my sibling(s) ...
are quite wonderful. . .and know I have a favorite!

12. I've  come to realize that my mom ...
is the greatest Mother on earth...ditto!!! (agreed!)

13. I've  come to realize that my cell phone ...
where is my cell phone??

14. I've come to realize that when I woke up this morning...I have at least one more day!

15. I've come to realize that last night before I went to sleep...
there are so many books I want to read.

16. I've come to realize that right now I am thinking...
some of my answers would change in another day or a different time..

17. I've come to realize that my dad......was the best Dad and Friend a person could have.

18. I've come  to realize that when I get on Multiply...
I am able to meet people I would have never met without it, to travel to different lands and cultures through their pictures and blogs, I can make friends I never would have met,  that have enriched my life,  that people, the world over, for the most part, desire the same things.

19. I've come to realize that today...
I did not make very good use of my time

20. I've come to realize that tonight...
another day has passed, never to be retrieved.

21. I've come to realize that tomorrow...
will come soon enough, without having to worry about it.
"Therefore, do not worry about Tomorrow, for Tomorrow will care for itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its' own."  Matthew 6:34  NASB

22. I've come to realize that I really want to... be pain free.

 23. I've come to realize that the person who is most likely to re-post this is......not up to me.

24. I've come to realize that life...
is a gift we can squander or build upon.

25. I've come to realize that this weekend...
is one of many to come.

26. I've realized the best music to listen to when  I am upset...
Vivaldi: The Four Seasons.

27. I've come to realize that my friends...
are a treasure!

28. I've come to realize that this year...
has a lot of life in it.

29.  I've come to realize that my ex...
is just that an ex.

30. I've come  to realize that maybe I should...do the things I have been thinking about doing.

31. I've come to realize that I love...to see a mountain valley, or the waves break against the shore.

32. I've come to realize that I don't understand...a lot of things.

33. I've come to realize my past...
the good and the bad, made me who I am at this moment.

34. I've come to realize that I'm totally terrified...so small dark confined places.

35. I've come to realize that my life...has few regrets.

I was tagged by Dearest Deity and Milli. .. Everyone consider yourselves tagged. Blame Deity!

John had a great sense of humor and although this is an oldy it is also a goody  this would have been my little joke for John for his Birthday on Friday 22nd of January. I am posting it a little earlier because of work commitments.

What Religion is Your Bra?

A man walked into the ladies department of Myer's

and shyly walked up to
the woman behind the counter and said,
'I'd like to buy a bra for my wife.

' What type of bra?'
asked the clerk.

'Type?' inquires the man, 'There's more than one type?'
' Look around,'

said the saleslady,
as she showed a sea of bras in every shape, size, colour
and material imaginable.
'Actually, even with all of this variety, there are really only four types of bras to choose from .'
Relieved, the man asked
about the types.
The saleslady replied:
'There are the Catholic,
the Salvation Army,
the Presbyterian,
and the Baptist types.
Which one would you prefer?'

Now totally befuddled,

the man asked about
the differences between them.
The Saleslady responded,
'It is all really quite simple. .

The Catholic type
supports the masses;
The Salvation Army type lifts the fallen;

The Presbyterian type keeps them staunch and upright;

The Baptist type
makes mountains out of molehills.'

Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and H are the letters used

to define bra sizes?
If you have wondered why,
but couldn't figure out
what the letters stood for,
it is about time
you became informed!

(A} Almost Boobs..

{B} Barely there...

{C} Can't Complain!..

{D} Dang!...

{DD} Double dang!...

{E} Enormous!...

{F} Fake...

{G} Get a Reduction...

{H} Help me, I've fallen

and I can't get up!...

They forgot the German bra.

  11. A little footnote from me from today.
I attended work today and something I do not normally do is give children a stamp on their hand for being good little ones whilst waiting with their parents. Anyway, for some reason today I decided it would be nice to reward a little 3 year old with a stamp after he asked me for one first. He must have had a stamp before at some stage. He actually prompted my memory about the two little stamps that are kept in a box in a cupboard.
I pulled out the first little stamp I found, not having a clue what was on it, because I have never used them before and I stamped the little guys hands.
Low and behold what was on this little red Stamp?....you guessed it a cute little penguin with the words Good One written next to it.
    Thanks JohnO..LOL.
