Picture Perfect - "Anachronism"

Thanks Gator for Taking the Picture Perfect Helm Again This Week with a Beauty----

"Anachronism"

Put Simply Though It Means

"Something which is found out of time and place" or in other words, perhaps an object from the past in a modern setting, or vice versa.

Wow What  a Word.

Presenting My Take on This Theme.

  1. It seems to reflect the reverse of something I've long said: I like the idea of decorating a mid-century modern house with period furniture. Interesting, don't you think?

  13. hey Milli, this is one of gators favorite sort of anachronisms ..one dealing with food,,,and I love dining in these sort of places,,,yes finding the modern folding table in such an antiquated setting fits the bill very well...great idea for the theme and as ann said nice framing using the doorway to focus ...

  16. Yes interesting. A bit of history... this is actually a very old barn come storage shed. Decorated with artifects of a bygone era it was used as the bar for a special occassion. Hence the new table and the modern can and bottles in the recycle basket. The actual building is, as it used to be.

  17. Simply beautilful photo and I myself thought 'Wow! What a word' also. Now I find myself looking for excuses to use it and making words of it. The old fashioned are now, Anachroheads. LOL

I believe the soda cans here most stand out as out of place.
