Beware All those who suffer from the fear of spiders.
Arachnophobia.
Our Garden Hunstman Spider below, made its home deep within these funnel type plants. I had to find him with the help of my sister because he resides there in her back yard. Once we located him, it was patience needed by us both as we waited for him to come closer to my camera. Below is the result. As close as I was willing to get to our hairy legged friend.
looks like a fuzzy one.......
ReplyDeleteThe photo or the spider?
ReplyDeleteLMAO..........spider silly...focal plane is perfectly clear...........
ReplyDeleteLOL wheww!!!. Thought I was getting tired and fuzzy eyed LOL Thanks Dana.
ReplyDelete*shudders* I'm not exactly afraid of spiders, but I can't say I enjoy their company either! LOL!

Did you know they say that the Daddy Long Legs ISN'T a spider? That's what I've heard! It doesn't have the requisite number of legs, for one thing!
ReplyDeletePhotographing this?
ReplyDeleteCamera shake absent, focus spot on, subject dangerous?
You have blood of ice Milli.
Do you? lol
Kitty you know what I just looked up the daddy long legs spider and now I think this is a huntsman spider. I did not pick him up and look over his body. LOL However I feel that he is a huntsman and will have to check with my sis in the morning. Anyway whatever it is..It is certainly a spider LOL. We grow em big down here.
ReplyDeleteand the Grand daddy has the most poisonous venom of all spiders...just not enough to kill a human

ReplyDeleteGot to agree with you Teri just a tad disturbing nature can be sometimes. But this one fits the description. I Will ask my sis in the morn she knows all the creatures living in her back garden. LOL She is on good terms with them all too.
ReplyDeleteomg it's fabulous
ReplyDeleteDid you see the movieARACNOPHOBIA??
ReplyDeleteif you did, can you remember the brown spiders with the black faces?
In the movie, they were portrayed as extremely venomous...but in reality, they're the only known spider, without a poison sac.....
they are actually a Avondale spider, from New Zealand,,,, my nephew and his friends were paid a dollar for every one they could catch....
Just to make that movie........
cool shot

Well worth the wait for this great photo..........I used to be fearful of all creepy creatures that scurried along at a fast speed.....escpecially Huntsmen that jumped onto the floor near me when I was lying there reading................they were scary. I am still careful but my respect has grown along with my fascination.
