Picture Perfect: Angles.

This weeks theme is angles and whilst thinking of this theme last Summer came to mind.

The temperatures were above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and we decided to head to the beach in the early evening. The scene that greeted us was a part of the lower esplanade closed down because a power line had fallen causing a small grass fire where it had hit the ground. The local CFS services had put out the fire and the Electricity crew were up there repairing the electricity cable. As I watched from the beach I remembered my camera was in my handbag and so I snapped some photos of these two very hot and hard working men doing their work at the time of day when everyone else was looking for a cool break and some relief. I take my hat off to the men in this photo and all the volunteers from the emergency service group too.

Presenting My Picture Perfect for Angles.

  3. Milli, you showed great restraint here.
I am surprised, after your window shot, you never had one move a little. lol
Better for them at 100 degrees than in the rain.
If that had been me up there I would have shouted down my phone number. lol

  4. Wow. Great shot. Notwithstanding the heat, getting near those high tension lines must be pretty tricky too. Thanks for stopping by mine also.
