Pull up a chair and have a chat with me?

Well by now the rumbles have truly set in on yahoo 360. I have been over to Multiply and set myself up and caught up with a few of my wonderful buddies.

I know that Yahoo has proclaimed through their 360 home page that early in 2008 they will integrate their services into something yet to be revealed. I am hopeful that whatever that might be, Yahoo can maintain the best features they have managed to place before us here in 360 and then better it. I am actually hopeful for this scenario to be the out come of all the change that's now in evidence on our blogs..

My reasons for trying out another medium was originally for back up of blogs, however I have changed my course on this as of now.

I think I will now go through and select the posts I wish to reintroduce to my friends and those sentimental to me. Others I will keep and make into a physical journal and scrapbook for my own personal use. The blogs here I will keep intact until I know my situation with Yahoo.

When I first came to blogging I truly had no idea of its impact or the way it would open up the world, in to my life. I just felt the need to write and be creative and everything here fell into place. It gave me so much scope to learn and discover and I have never looked back.

The friends I have made along the way have been the cream on top of my plate of scones and jam and now as I forge into my second year I feel very close to my wonderful, giving friends. All of you!

The social scene, the festivals, the camaraderie, is something Yahoo has not understood, I feel

The human element of any business must never be forgotten. We are after all consumers and will continue to be. Maybe a pay as you go will be the way of the future.

My guess is that as we migrate further afield other companies will understand the potential of the everyday blogger to their businesses.

Time will tell! So in the mean time pull up a chair and share with me your thoughts and feelings?
