Thanks Linda for being our Special Hostess this week and for giving us an Oops Moment.
We all have moments when our lighting is not up to scratch for the subject we wish to photograph and my Oops moment came recently when I photographed a rather pretty glass lamp shade. It was less than spectacular and very dull indeed. With a bit of editing I have managed to bring out much more reflective colour and I think brought this dull little image into some thing much more interesting and colourful.
Thanks so much Linda for giving us a chance to change our OOPS moments.
How beautiful your oops moment is!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Belita.
DeleteI will never forget the original intro for I&W that included wording something like this: " expanding our minds thru photography" It is those words that prompted this theme selection. I wanted everyone to realize those precious moments captured with their camera but are real bombs...can INDEED be saved with a bot of work , imagination and expansion of the mind!!
ReplyDeleteI love your entry..... and though I think your first one isn't a true oops....it's missing appeal. Editing a photo to correct or add some pizazz can make the difference between discarding the photo or keeping it! WEll done....life was breathed onto your photo and it's eye candy now!
Thanks for your kind words they meant alot!
Awe thanks again for such a wonderful theme Linda....maybe it was not so much an oops moment but I do love much better colour. It was too dull before for me.
DeleteLooking forward to having you host again soon Linda. xo
