Picture Perfect ~ week 6 ~ Winter Wonderland

Although Winter is still four months away for us down here in the Southern Hemisphere and snow is few and far between in my home state, I have found a photo for the theme.
Our Winter Wonderland starts towards the end of July when the soft and delicate Almond Blossoms present on the bare wood of the local almond trees.
Soft and pretty these delicate petals scatter on the wind creating another type of

Winter Wonderland.

Thanks Heather for hosting this week.

  1. It looks beautiful, and obviously quite ready for a winter so far unknown to me.

  4. Amazing scenery, Milli. Just amazing. The Almond Blossoms look very similar to Pear Blossoms, aren't they?

    1. Thanks Di.
Yes they are similar but a bit lighter. Also they come well before the apple and pear blossoms are in bloom.
