Although Winter is still four months away for us down here in the Southern Hemisphere and snow is few and far between in my home state, I have found a photo for the theme.
Our Winter Wonderland starts towards the end of July when the soft and delicate Almond Blossoms present on the bare wood of the local almond trees.
Soft and pretty these delicate petals scatter on the wind creating another type of
Winter Wonderland.
Thanks Heather for hosting this week.
It looks beautiful, and obviously quite ready for a winter so far unknown to me.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely different from your Winter Amalie..thanks for stopping by.
DeleteBeautiful. So much better than cold cold snow.
ReplyDeleteIt was fairly still and misty with very low cloud just drifting below the hills Lynda and my photo can not do it justice..it was so pretty.
Deletethat is the most stunning shot Milli...hope you get your snow fill this weekend..:))
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather snow fill would mean lots of icy pole iceblocks to eat this weekend I guess!!!
DeleteAmazing scenery, Milli. Just amazing. The Almond Blossoms look very similar to Pear Blossoms, aren't they?
