Did You Know?

In 1889, William Stewart Halsted, the first chief of surgery at John Hopkins Hospital, invented rubber gloves in order to prevent medical staff from catching dermatitis from surgical chemicals.

  4. Good photo, interesting, but I have never been a friend of rubber gloves and must admit have never used them. the only protective gloves I use are sometimes in the garden.
