Ive gone blind looking at the right foreground but i cant see anything lol Either my I am tired and eyes are blurry, or your photo is playing tricks on me lol Great shot, I can't get my pc to read the camera's SD card, this laptop has no editing program, so my idea of a summertime photo will wait til next time
Thanks for the visit Lyn. I understand how you must be feeling. If you look between the rocks you can see legs sticking up behind the large rocks. I did not realise that I had captured someone standing upside down until I loaded this photo onto my pc and looked at it actual size. Maybe he/she was doing some yoga on the beach this day. If you have a saved photo you can edit it in a couple of online programs. picmonkey is one and photobucket is another. http://www.picmonkey.com/ or http://photobucket.com/
I can see something that looks like the head of a big bird - but after reading further it seems like it is human material - great picture and words, exactly what my cats said, They shed their tensions (although Nera did hiss at me today), they shed their clothes - cat hairs all over the place, and they get drunk with knowing that all is right with the world and the mice are thriving.
Wonderful shot Milli !!! I looked and could see what you were referring to, although I couldn't make out what it was at first. For a moment I thought it was an ostrich!! But then I thought that highly unlikely!! LOL.. That's when I read some of the other comments and found out what it really was!!! LOL.
I can see legs...perhaps someone physically exercizing.... awesome shot, Milli! Love the emerald green of th ocean by the shore and then the blue farther distant,,,
I think Summer time gives us that opportunity Amalie. We can not save else other than our own sanity but when we all practice that individually then as a whole we might have a sensible society who can achieve amazing things..together. Thanks Amalie.
When I came across this beautiful beach on a warm summers day Belita it was exactly those colours that first caught my eye. It was a stunning view. Thank You.
I had assumed of course that either the emerald or the blue had been photoshopped in. So those were the actual, real-life colors as you came upon them, Milli? If so, that's amazing .....never seen anything like it... (Either way it's a beautiful photo.)
ps - I too thought that was a duck. Even using a magnifying glass it's hard to tell exactly; perhaps my monitor isn't large enough, or the pixels aren't small enough. But I think you're right; it does appear to be someone trying to get into a yoga position, or else a contortionist.
In the original it was easily seen to be a person doing some kind of handstand. The photo was decreased in size for posting here. Yes these are the beautiful waters of the Queensland Gold Coast on a beautiful day. Although I have edited for this Images and Words post the photo is very beautiful in it's original form. Thanks so much for your visits and comments. It is good to have you give me your opinions on the posts funny as well as serious.
First of all: a wonderful place, marvellous colours, a beautiful picture! 2 nd point: I thought it was some bird and it took me some time to "see" legs :) when I understood those legs could be apart I saw them! 3rd point: A nice quotation and I think it's true... life always seems lighter, carefree when the weather is nice. And finally: Thanks a lot for your kind comment on mine.
oh milli I love this kind of shot and the legs are cool great place for a tan I love your shots they are always so wonderful thanks for them and for helping me with all this :)
Another masterpiece, Milli! you work never ceases to amaze me! Absolutely gorgeous colors, and I love the softness around the edges...makes it look dreamy!
"jeweled balm for the battered spirit" would make a great title for this photo!

ReplyDeleteSometimes Americans have a hard time adapting to change. To him, he was still right-side up.
