  2. Thanks Bill and it was only the one wing there amongst the fallen petals and leaves. I think three days is the life of a butterfly.
Tell me if I am wrong please?

  4. The cycle of life even at the end offers beauty doesn't it Milli. I love that you stopped and captured it....not everyone would see it.

  6. Cool photo. I'll just bet that butterfly didn't really want to discard that rather important piece of his anatomy!!! Life is short.

  11. Dana the butterfly died as did the rose flower. There was only one wing in amongst the leaves and petal.

  12. This picture you submitted truly is the definition of discarded. However, nature rarely discards, usually reuses. These reminants of beauty will go to feed other objects in nature. Very good take on the theme.
I used the wrong word to title mine, oops!!

  15. Yes Bill and when I took the photo it was only one wing of a beautiful butterfly. Now it has blown away on the wind. Life is so fragile at times. GB.
