Thank You Joel for this week's Choice for Images and Words.
I have chosen the Pot Luck theme.
Last week I drove down past the river at sunrise on my way to work and I missed the most amazing reflection of a rainbow on the flat mirror like water. I had no time to stop. So it was a delight for me to come across another rainbow not in exactly the same spot as before but still showing clearly across the river. I had lamented over the loss of the chance to capture the rainbow the week before. This time I was not going to miss the opportunity to photograph my 'pot of luck' because it seems I was given a second chance of being in the right place at the right time yet again yesterday morning.

Beautiful photo! I also tried to photograph a rainbow over glassy water, but the pond was busy with birds and also a little boy fishing with his dad and grandad--who could be upset about a heartwarming scene like that? I did get the rainbow and it's non-mirror like reflection just before it faded.
ReplyDeleteI love the soft light on the landscape in your photo :-)
Thank you for visiting mine.
Stunning picture with nice words.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit and kind words.
