This Weeks Picture Perfect Theme is:
Pleasantville.

Above is the original.
My photo was cropped and then using a Picasa 3 program I turned the colour photo into Black and White. I then highlighted the orange butterfly and a few leaves on the tree into my Bright Colour Highlight. This photo was taken very quickly one afternoon as the monarch butterfly which was sitting on a flower in the foreground, made a sudden departure. I think the butterfly in the garden works very well in this weeks theme 'Pleasantville' from the 1998 movie of the same name. Thanks Heather have a fun vacation.

Milli, your talents have no bounds. This picture transformation reminded me of the dramatic effect of the girl with the red coat in the otherwise black and white film "Schindler's List."
