A few months ago I was out with my camera and clicking away in an adjacent historical area. I have a love of taking photos and of all things buildings and houses. Especially the older houses and buildings so along the way I am getting quite a collection. .
More photos coming through as I get them altogether in an album for you to enjoy.
Taking photos of a few of the old homes was indeed a great thrill for me on this particular day and because this area used to be famous for the location of The Bangor Slate Quarry there are many examples of these old slate roofed homes to be seen. One such house I found is this heritage listed old beauty. It looked long since lived in and for me it told a story. The story of eras now passed and the ways of life of people now passed too. Humble maybe but still standing strong with a thousand untold stories I am sure still stored inside of these thick stone walls.
I must just mention here that when I thought to post this photo I knew I wanted to also place a link for the old slate quarry. What I did not realise until I read through the link supplied is that this house is also featured on that site and photographed from the same angle as well. Amazing coincidence.. Is that synchronicity or what?
