Picture Perfect: Roadside.

The challenge this week for Picture Perfect is to take a drive or a walk and photograph something from your roadside view.

My Roadside view was taken yesterday whilst on a late afternoon stroll to a small lane close by.

The area is historic and the beautiful old trees covering this not very well used road are shedding their late Autumn coloured leaves.

I was walking on an Autumn carpet.

I hope the magic and ambiance I felt there, comes through.

Roadside.

Autumn Walk  Down a Country Lane.

Taken with my Canon Digital Camera and resized and colour tweeked in photo bucket edit.

For those who like to see the original version not my Artistic view I have included it below.

  17. I thought I'd already commented, but I must have waited so that I'd have a link to mine. First let me congratulate you on your Top Ten win last week! Very cool!

This one has a very artistic, pointillism effect. I love the treeways and byways.

  18. Yes, very colorful Autumn picture Milli and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I was wondering about the pointillism effect too, how you got that or if you have stretched the pic and that's how it happened? Anyway it looks quite cool!

  19. Hi girls I wanted an ambiance and almost a old painting look with this one and I think I achieved it with just one edit click in paint program to enhance the colour. The late afternoon sunlight has given the elongated look because of the light coming through the trees. This photo has not been stretched and was down sized because I take it in a big file size. Anymore questions please ask.

  23. Oh very interesting technique. I did try this on one of my photos, but opted not to use it. It does give a really different feel for the picture.
