I thought we all needed a bit of weekend fun. So as I was looking through some photos from September the year before last, I saw some photos of a September celebrated 30Th birthday party that asked us all to come as characters from fantasy or comics. I obliged much to the amusement of the Barbie hostess and came as Wonder Woman, and wonderfully escorted by Super Man himself was I LOL!! and I must admit it was pure fun to go as alter ego super heroes and play that part right through out the night.
Maybe it brings out the actor or actress in us all and let me just tell you all, that the guests were literally dumb founded at the way we, the meek and mild, LOL showed up dressed in total as the Super Heroes whom we then proceeded admirably to become for the entire night. Flying was not permitted however!!
Actually I will admit that when we went to hire these costumes these suits were about all that were left, because on the same day we needed them the costumes were literally running out the store, so to speak. There happened to be dress up Birthday parties everywhere this particular weekend. September birthdays may be the result of a very good festive season previously. I wonder?
I thought that I would ask my friends here if you were to choose your own alter ego Super hero who would it be? Would you be Phantom or his wife Diana? Spider man, Wonder Woman, Popeye or Olive Oil. The list is endless we have so many choices, many more than I will mention here.
I did a bit of a research and actually found just the Character for me.
That’s her in my avatar Millie the Model circa 1945 until 1973. She sounds such fun and loves all the same things I do LOL. She has a friend and this really tickled my fancy her friends name is Chili Storm and she is a redheaded model. Talk about slapstick humour I read this courtesy of Wikipedia: Millie Collins' worked as a model for the Hanover Agency, where her boyfriend was photographer Clicker (originally Flicker). Her best friend was Toni Turner, and redheaded model Chili Storm her friendly nemesis. (Millie: "Sorry I'm late! I just got back from the beauty parlor!" Chili: "Too bad they didn't have time to take you!") LOL.
I know Millie will have automatic friends in 360 like Betty Boop another icon from the past is our Betty and a very popular one at that.
