Texas Cyber Trip Day 5. Dear Diary

Dear Diary Day Five

Here I am back the front in my journal tonight. Rita leaves off her post by announcing that Milli is singing,  I love the night life, I love to boogie by Alicia Bridges and she is not half wrong there. What a day, this has been. I have had the time of my life and you know that is something that I am saying pretty much every day here. This Place to use one of Rii's words is FABU.

Morning and one of the best breakfasts I have eaten in ages, you see as Shankar has said before that I am usually an "Australian oats made in to porridge, kinda gal." This breakfast was outstanding and I have never eaten in such style before. Well! actually!, I have stayed at some swanky places before and eaten beautifully prepared meals, but this was very special and actually what I would call, "Out Standing." With the finer details of breakfast dining all being met to perfection, at the formal dining table. Please read Rita’s review about this wonderful Bed and Breakfast and see the recipe that she has kindly supplied for everyone to try Butterscotch Carmel Coffee Cake. All of this great food requires Rita and I to get up and move afterwards and so off we went for the River stroll together and I must say it was pleasant and relaxing to stroll by. Looking around and taking in the ambiance, of this wonderful waterway in San Antonio Texas.

We passed so many interesting places and to see the pictures please have a look at Rita's post as she also mentions more food there. Yes and I do I have her referring to the frequent stops for coffee or herbal teas as "Time for a Cuppa!!?" Which is all very Aussie speak and entertaining to Rita. Dang! These Texans sound so smooth and as an Aussie I sound like I am ending my words with an emphasis on the last letter i.e. Rita becomes Reetuh! With an infliction placed on the end letter. The difference becomes very noticeable.

Shopping anyone? Good choices?

I needed to do a bit of souvenir shopping do you like what I found?

Now after all this exhaustive shopping, it was time for a river cruise and then back to the B and B to get ready for a bit of Night life.

The town was so beautiful at night with lights of the city reflecting off the river water and needless to say we had a buzz of a time. Once again out eating and then some more dancing and as we walked back to the beautiful old colonial house, which was our home away from home I could not get this song out of my mind. If you wish to hear it please click to play it yourself below and I think I know why I remember it so well. The Aussie film Priscilla Queen of the Desert featured this song and here am I feeling like a Queen in the Texan not so Desert in San Antonio. AHH!!! I love the nightlife I want to boogie!!!!! Sing with me?

Good Night
