Hi Sue and everyone else who dropped by. The bird eating my apples from the tree is a small local parrot called a Parakeet. I have pretty much stripped the tree now and left a few apples for the beautiful birds to feast on when they drop by. These birds are a bit skittish so you do need to have your camera near by and be quiet and quick to capture them. They and the lorikeets are very welcome in my garden.
