Poetry Wednesday Destiny of the Troll.

I have pulled a poem from the closet of blogging for charity a forum once used on Yahoo 360, whereby we were given a set of words to form into a story or a verse. The words I had to use in this exercise are above the verse and I do hope it gives you a visual delight as you read it through. Hugs from Milli.

Changeling..Fury..Paramount..Aphrodisiac..Tantalising.Shroud..Weave..

Engage...and Empower.

Destiny of the Troll

Dark and tormented was the day my life realised, next to a newly opened flower

It was my mother's epiphany and the devil's chance to empower.

Me a changeling exchanged, and left in fury at the garden gate

As he wove a spell and she drank an aphrodisiac, served with hate

Paramount was his need, to weave a shroud of deception

Knowing full well my infant fate, was planned from conception.

A tantalising thought when the devil plans a future for his seed

To take a human form, is a virtue for us elves and trolls, indeed.

Did he know how quickly and with such sincere delight?

I would engage the pastor and his wife, with my thoughtful insight.

You see, the Devil in all his need of power and control

Forgetting my need was to be a loving human, not a devilish old Troll.
