Great shot, Milli. Miners don't seem to care about the "extra" dirt around a mine when they're looking for something as pretty as Opals! We visited Opal mining areas in Nevada last summer. Very similar looking, actually, with wild burros there!
red dirt IS very dirty! I live in SW GA and red clay roads are everywhere.... your car gets caked in it and if you're riding a four-wheeler, your body and hair is coated with it. But.. it is home and I'd rather live with red dirt than endless cement and pavement any ole day! Great entry for the theme!! PP#6: ~ Dirty ~
If the kangaroos, wombats, wild camels, and other creatures around here don't fall into one of the huge open dug out holes around here then I guess they can be seen mostly around the evenings and at night. There might be a few donkeys too but I am not sure about that. Amazing places actually and thanks for the visit.
