I Dropped My Beloved Little Camera

I am looking for a new camera as sadly I dropped my camera and it will be too expensive to repair. This was my carry every where little Canon Camera perfect for the walks I like to take with a light camera in hand or in my pocket.

I have made an album of the photos and they are notw placed above.

I have a few ideas for a replacement so I will let you know when I decide.

In the mean time here are a few of my recent photos which I loved taking as I enjoyed the fresh air and a late afternoon stroll out with my well used and cherished little camera.

Milli.

I loved the cloud formations above.

I found local watercolour artists on one of my walks painting the seascape view.

The two landscapes are my photos and show some of the area these artists have painted as they paint the local areas beauty spots.

Above is a collage of photos from one recent walk. Perfect weather and lighting even if there was a slight chill in the air.

  1. It broke my heart Gary. I am very careful always but this was just a total slip up or in this case fall down.

  2. I easily understand why. It looks like a paradise.
Sorry to hear about your camera. a few years ago, when I lost mine, it felt like I had lost a part of myself. Anyhow, a camera can me replaced.

  4. Thank You Amalie.
I think these little hardships can prove to be for the better.
Well I am hopeful that I will find another with a few more features and just as compact.

  8. I need that size for my out and about shooting. I like to carry my camera in my handbag or when out walking in my pocket or on my wrist with the band.
I have a good little camera case and would like a camera that I can place in it easily.

  18. If you can, steer away from anything that uses those damn AA batteries, they just dont last. Theres been a few Canon specials lately, so hope you find the one you like.
Your photos are fantastic, so whatever you choose, I know you will still strive for that same excellence

  19. I have had several of the point and shoot that use the AA batteries. If using the non rechargeable ones, yes - avoid but I have a charge system and several AA rechargeable batteries. Use them in lots of things. I don't have any trouble with how long the batteries last. If I'm gone all day with the point and shoot on a trail ride, I just take a couple of extra batteries along. 2 for the camera and 2 for the GPS. The 2 in the camera usually last more than a day and I take hundred of photos a day on a normal trail ride and some video.

if you just want an 'el cheapo'....
    ALDI'S have one going... $65.oo .......
or Big W also have some.......

Although they're cheap, the quality of pictures is still quite reasonable.....
I got one I keep in the car.....

  23. my dslr takes four batteries, and if i use the flash, pfft.... rechargeables dont last much longer either. Time to get myself a Canon with a lith-ion battery lol

  24. My Nikons have that. Wish the point and shoot Canon did too so that is why I use the rechargeable.

  26. it's the only bad thing about my Pentax dslr, Linda, having to change/charge batteries too often. That is why I dont use it as much as the Sony. Even my first digital had a lith-ion battery, and now they are almost at an end after so many charges over the past 7-8 years.
