The Colours of Home.
Thanks Cherie for this delightful theme..
I have settled for the colours of a nesting pair of Pink and Grey Galahs inhabiting a tall palm in the front garden and from the sounds of it they have a little family safely tucked away up high safely hidden in between the dried palm fronds.
Beautiful birdies!

ReplyDeleteThanks Milli for capturing a snap of a pair of Galahs! Shiraz is now 8 months old and clearly stating 'I love you Shiraz bird.'
ReplyDeleteFor more on Galahs, well, our hand-fed baby from a breeder in Maine, http://renster.multiply.com/photos/album/577/Shiraz_the_Galah
For those of us in the US a Galah is a rare site. I'd never seen one until he chose me in the store this June. Good thing this was not my first bird, or even first cockatoo, because he is a forager and makes a huge mess. Berries are always smeared around the walls of his cage, all toys, any clothing... but he is worth it for the cheek cuddles and loving manners.
Australians are so fortunate - http://www.backyardgalahcam.com.au/index.php is amazing around dusk and dawn in Australia.
I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I love the colors of those birds, the red breasts and the blue stripe on the tails.
