Welcome to week 67 for Images & Words.
Thank you Amy for stepping in for Mia with this
Amazing Triple Choice.
I will take the Inspiration theme for my choice this week in anticipation mode. Looking outside in the garden small buds are now gracing the plants and trees and the birds are beginning to nest in preparation for our Southern Hemisphere Spring.
Oh so thankful we be, for the glory of
Spring in the Garden
And
We shall certainly celebrate.

To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones
A time to gather stones together
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time of war, a time of peace
A time of love, a time of hate
A time you may embrace
A time to refrain from embracing
To everything - turn, turn, turn
There is a season - turn, turn, turn
And a time for every purpose under heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time to love, a time to hate
A time of peace, I swear it's not too late!
I Wish You All a Very Good Season

ReplyDeleteLyrics | The Byrds - Turn! Turn! Turn! (to Everything There Is a Season) lyrics
lovely picture from your garden...
ReplyDeleteI can certainly say Vic that I am so looking forward to the warmth and colour.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Thanks Dana. I took it in my mothers garden actually.she has a host of fruit trees and they look awesome when all blooming. The fruit is excellent too.
ReplyDeletevery nice
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWell, yes! In your part of the world, you're probably seeing the first signs of spring, aren't you? I'll be glad when we see the first signs of fall. It has been SO hot this summer! Clouds pass over, and I think, "Oh, good! Now, it will rain and give us a break from all this heat." But, no. The clouds keep on passing by without spilling a drop. Your entry is so cheerful - warm days, gentle breezes, and glorious cherry blossoms. My favorite time of the year.
ReplyDeleteSo strange to me....our summer is dying and your Spring begins. Shelley is a favorite of mine. His words fit your bursting blooms well.
ReplyDeleteLovely fruit blossoms! We're still in the height of summer, not even a hint of fall yet which is good for us because we had a VERY late spring and summer. I'm concerned that my veggies won't have time to mature before fall, so I'll probably build a makeshift over my veggie bed when cold nights threaten. I love the quote from Shelley, and of course I love the song by the Byrds!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing with me this week :-)
Very Pretty Milli.
ReplyDeleteThanks for Your visit and comment.
I understand how opposite we are from you and I appreciate that difference. I actually love autumn too!
ReplyDeleteOur past summer was pretty much that way too.
Thank you.
Thanks Jule...I know how strange it is to get your mind around this. Shelley is a fav of mine too. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteGood of you to stop by Weenie.
ReplyDeleteA great theme Amy and it was good of you to step in for Mia at short notice. I was wondering if she was available this week and I was relieved when you stepped in.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about those veg. The makeshift is a great idea. When the season changes it can come swiftly. The late winter rains here have been fantastic for our up coming spring. The Byrds well it is a classic and I guess comes to most peoples minds when we speak of seasons. Thank You Amy.
Wow Milli, that's a gorgeous capture! And I love the words too (my son's favorite song).

ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit.
A time to turn, or be turned?
ReplyDeleteDo we act, or do we react?
Oft time I think reaction is the movitation.
Decision only comes into play when choosing a solution.
Then comes the time to----------------
Lovely pic again.
Absolutely fabulous words and image.

thansk, dear, for ur comment.
Beautiful flowers! Everything does have a season, eh? Dunno how this thought ties in, but I am reminded that the depth to which we feel pain is the height to which we feel joy...I reckon feelings have seasons, too?
ReplyDeleteBeen a sweltering summer here. This southern gal is ready for FALL lol.
