Creative Challenge 109 ~ Strange
Life is Strange
Contrary to what we believe
Our Life will be the result
Of the various thoughts and actions which we believe
And place forth Into our daily lives
So From our Birth until to Our Demise
Strange things will happen
Much To Our Surprise.
As a child of three
You tell me
Did Neil Armstrong ever think
That standing on the moon one day
He would be.
What child of two
Could say to you
I will die on a cross at thirty two
When the old man sits and examines his past
Do you think he would have ever thought
That he would stand fast
That day when all his friends succumbed
To a bloody battle fought and then lost
From the drop
Of an atomic bomb blast
Even us aging hippies and surfy chicks
Still grow flowers and raising our chicks
Embracing as we do the new technology around us
And yes
We might appear strange as we drive around in our old bongo bus
Strange, yes it is a strange sight for some to see
But for those of us who make that choice
It is as normal as
A herbal tea.
Life is strange and we are who we are
So Let us not judge others
For who or what they Are!
