Creative Challenge ~ 105 ~ White

Creative Challenge ~ White ~

*The Moonlight Garden*

White Alyssum carpets the soil

As moon beams shine silver over a gardens toil

Lining a garden path I watch them all glow

Geraniums, Lillie's, Roses all, as white as snow

Larkspurs, Delphiniums, Azaleas light my way

Touched with moonbeams, flowers glowing like day

Such is the beauty of this magical night scene

Glorious garden of white, haunting beauty, serene

When

Pure white flowers meticulously gathered the next day

Are placed so elegantly, in a bride's bouquet

Moonlight filled these flowers will stay

Exquisitely presented they enhance the brides day.

  10. What a picture you paint with all those flowers. By the time I was done reading, I had to suppress a sneeze. That's why I avoid weddings and funerals, especially my own, and steer clear of florists.
I admire the flowers from a safe distance.

This is my entry for the week The Understanding
