Picture Perfect # What Am I?

Picture Perfect This Week's Theme:

What am I?

I am vintage of oriental design

Although,

I am not used in the way that I was originally intended

My new lease of life

Has given me new appeal

And my original purpose is now extended .

What am I?

Thanks for this Theme Cherie and
