There is nothing better than cooking outside over an open fire. We cook burgers, hot dogs and when we splurge steaks and ribs. I've went to a whole hog BBQ before.
I can smell of the smoke hanging heavily in the air, hear conversation mainly muted with the accassional deep belly laughter breaking out where everyone joins in or smiles as they drink from freshly retrieved cold tinnies from the esky,and the onions and steak sizzling away upon the hot plate is certainly wetting my appetite over here (drooling would be more apt...lol.....). Really do miss my Aussie BBQ and go to the Outback Steak house in Pittsburgh when I get up that way a couple of times a year but its not the same...sigh! It will be a real joy to get back to my fair land down under soon..............hugzzzz
