It is played a big more like a game of rounders although some take it very seriously and play the game to hit a good many runs as the fielders have to sometimes swim for the ball. Its fun!
Probably one of the few here that has played cricket, once spent a day at the oval in London at a test match, but have never played beach cricket. Although I find it a boring game to watch, it can be fun to play. Shame the others did not arrive - great photo, one of the few vast expanses of empty land left probably.
A very interesting shot, Milli. I can remember playing cricket with my cousins when I was a child, but I never see anyone playing anymore, except on Derby Day.
have no idea how to play it...but I would love to be on that beach right now....
ReplyDeleteAwesome shot.... Hell I could always go for a game of beach Cricket !!!! I think at least
