I Bit the Bullet and Did It!

After becoming inspired by my friends here who have taken some of their photos and had them printed into a larger photo, I bit the bullet and took two of mine off my camera card and had them printed up and framed. I had a good reason to do so. My brother has a significant birthday coming up next week and I wanted to give him a surprise present. When I took these photos I was visiting his house next to the river and had a very successful afternoon of photographing in and around this vicinity.

These photos I have had framed for him you might remember.

The pile of logs he had cut and stacked for future gatherings with family and friends by the river side is one and the other is the boat silhouette in the sunset which I stood on his jetty to shoot. So this is a view that he can enjoy even when he is not at the shack. I hope these photos will be a good present for his upcoming Birthday as they decorate his walls, whilst holding such fond memories for him in the years to come.

I was very pleased with the quality of the photos as they were untouched in anyway. They were printed as they came off the card, which at first had me wondering if they would come through as sharp as they looked on my viewer.

Needless to say I will be picking some more favourites to hang on my own walls soon too.

Only problem..Which ones? LOL.

Thanks to all who gave me inspiration and A Happy New Week to All.

A thing of beauty is a joy for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.
