A Slide-show of Some of My Vacation Photos.

Life is Good up here on the Gold Coast and with only one day to go before being homeward bound I have booked tomorrow morning for a whale watching trip and am excited and looking forward to being up, close and personal to these giants from the depths of the sea the mighty Humpback Whales. Apparently they are around and there was even a pod of Killer whales in the bay on Tuesday so who knows maybe we will see other whales too..

The weather up here has been warmer than usual, all my luck, and I guess for this time of the year it is an indication of a very hot summer still to come. Interestingly enough back home and down south of Australia, there has been wild weather with hail stones and winds causing much havoc in places.

In the mean time I am leaving a small slide show made from a few of the many photos I have taken so far.

    It's gorgeous up there isn't it. My aunt lives just off the coast and has a wonderful view of the Gold Coast itself. My cousin and her daughter were also just up there.

    Thanks John....LOL....I never want to leave there. But I must admit I would probably miss here too if I went back.

    So Milli...did you see any whales?

    I would LOVE to go with and see whales.......the closest I came was whale sharks in the Ga aquarium, that are hand fed.

    I love to watch a show called Whale Wars. the only war I understand anyway. Last week they harpooned and took 4 whales in front of the Sea Shepard's on the Steve Irwin. Not sure but I think they are down there near ya...?
