Picture Perfect ~ Shapes

The Picture Perfect Theme This Week is - Shapes.

Today I am presenting the different shapes found in a handmade, stained glass and lead-light window.

These cut glass shapes when placed together make the most beautiful pieces of functional art. You can see from my photo below how these coloured glass shapes have been united into a truly beautiful picture.

    Hi Dana I love lead-light art. It fascinates me and yet I have never tried to do it personally. I would love to see some of your brothers work if you have any photos? It is a very hands on and time consuming practice but so beautiful when it is back lit which was happening when I took the photo tonight, minus the flash.

    Congrats... it IS a fine piece indeed! With my mom being an artist, I have a few amazing pieces in my house...... one in particular I contracted 3 years ago that will separate the living room from my kitchen... its almost done.. CANT WAIT!!!!
