Write a Cinquain.
A cinquain is poetry with five lines.
Line 1 has one word (the title).
Line 2 has two words that describe the title.
Line 3 has three words that tell the action.
Line 4 has four words that express the feeling,
Line 5 has one word which recalls the title in some way.
Manifestation
**************
Unlimited potential
Manifest, Express, Materialise
Pure Thought, Energy, Desire
Karma

Milli 09

not bad....not bad at all........
ReplyDeletebut I love the porky piccy above....lol
LOL not good not good at all But I also loved the piggy bank cartoon too LOL.
ReplyDeletepowerful milli!!!
ReplyDeleteWell done Milli. I found this a little harder to do than I thought
ReplyDeleteAw thanks Sharon so much.
ReplyDeleteYes Rita it requires some deep thoughts unless you wish to make a very light Cinquain.
ReplyDeleteVery intriguing... I suspect that you need a way to make “Unlimited potential” less polysyllabic — it sounds like too many words, more words than are actually there.
ReplyDeleteWhile we’re achieving the impossible, there’s stretching the “of” within “law of attraction” to make it sound like more syllables... hmmm... let’s have a go (this will probably not work well, but nothing ventured, nothing gained)Manifestation
Endless power
Formulae for Attraction
Pure Thought, Energy, Desire
Milli09I ran Milli into 09 to make it sort-of say “million” & be one word. “Endless power” lacks a bit of punch, but makes Line 2 more clearly two words.
Formulae? Well, it’s a marginal tongue-twister but a synonym for laws (in this sense) & a plural. It also allows the “for” to flow better, standing in as a more distinct word than “of.”
A challenge...
Poor piggy, but probably the most sensible thing at the moment.
ReplyDeleteYou have my vote here.
ReplyDeleteI think maybe you can write my posts from now on. You have such a great formulae. i am impressed with the man from Perth.
Thanks Pat.
ReplyDeleteyo mills.....manifestation of what?....grins.....
ReplyDeletei like it...............lots......
LOL Good one Mannu....
ReplyDeletelove it....and the picture is awesome funnyxx
ReplyDeleteI am glad you found the irony..thanks jools
ReplyDeleteAs odd as this may sound, I see a connection of the cinquain and the cartoon.
ReplyDeleteNo matter how powerful, how strong, how rich we may be, if we don't watch our nickles and dimes, everything is lost.
As to the cartoon alone, it is silly funny. Grinning.
Very powerful lesson here especially when linked with the picture, which by the way is so cut and funny! Good thinking, I really like it! Thank you, Millie for your visit!!!
ReplyDeleteTook me a while to see the paradox between the piggy cartoon and your entry. I just got from work. Students made me dumb and numb. LOL.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I think you delivered a rather more revitalizing approach to life through your cinquain. Should be upon everyone's spirits these days.
Thanks for the kind comment. You really know how to boost me ego. LOL.
May I respectfully suggest
ReplyDeleteMilli6 -- Where 6 should be uppercase which mathematically equates to one million.
You do us a POWER of good. lol
I have changed my original effort for two reasons it was not actually correct when I read the reference for a true Cinquain. I have never written one of these before. The other reason was that I used a paradox approach which was not easily recognised by many. However I am pleased to have the input here from all my friends as it keeps me on my toes for a new learning curve. We Aussies are Characters you know and can never really keep a straight face at times. LOL Thanks all!
ReplyDeletei thought the first one was powerful... this one though is soulful!... you are great at this milli!!!
ReplyDeleteAww thanks sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteLOL at the cartoon... and yes, cartoon does imply karma.. Theres Karma to a Bank too :P
ReplyDeleteI think the first one is already great. The revision is even better. ^&^
ReplyDeleteI am learning more about Aussies. Thanks to you and Pete. Ha!
We're a weird mob, I tell ya.....lmao...
ReplyDeleteWe always find something to laugh at........
yes, even us Kiwi's too.....lol
That's why I love you guys.
ReplyDeleteKiwi's are those who live in New Zealand, right? Am confused.
cartoon is great.. I liked the verse too.
ReplyDeleteYes Deity Aussies are Australians and Kiwi's are New Zealanders. But New Zealander's can live in Aus too and Aussies can live in New Zealand. We have a slight difference in our English pronunciation. If you get to hear us speaking you will pick the difference. Like Mr Pete Says, Here We all usually maintain a healthy slice of humour.
ReplyDeleteVery clever Milli, I love it!
ReplyDeleteMia the kiwi lol
Oh Mia now Deity will be very confused if she hears your Kiwi Accent LOL. Thanks so much for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteyup....but when I came to Ozzie, I left the lights on...so any Ozzies escaping the Kiwi exodus could see where they were going....lmao....
