All that glitters can be old gold and someones treasure, but alas not mine.
Original crop below of my photo.
The photo above and below is a crop from a photo taken last year at a show where the vendor sold estate jewellery from a stall. This photo was taken showing some of the jewellery on offer and by the way it was safely locked under glass.
I was privileged to be given permission to take the photos by the lady at the stall.
The highlighted treasure below sitting next to some very fine pieces of estate jewellery is a Victorian Gold Chain and Pendent. I thought it was truly beautiful and an exceptionally nice piece. However the price-tag was also very befitting this beautiful treasure and my only keep sake of the necklace is this photo.
Enjoy!
Picture Perfect Tour From Here.
Below is the Bling version LOL.
bling bling....
ReplyDeleteDana can you see the first photo? Yes Bling Bling here.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful!!! Would have looked great around your neck wearing that red dress. But you would have had to hire a body guard. I guess the necklace fetched thousands. Have a great week end. Our spring can't be to far away. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteLOL Aww geeze Nick wanna be that body guard and you know I can feel Autumn creeping in here too.
ReplyDeleteMilli this is great stuff. I am wanting to snitch those pearl earrings myself. LOL I so love vintage jewelry.
ReplyDeleteRita I so wish I had been able to purchase some of this jewellery it really was quite a good price but at these shows you don't usually take too much cash LOL. Oh well another time. I will have to save my pennies.
ReplyDeleteyes.. I see both of them
ReplyDeleteThanks Dana sometimes when I copy and paste from my multiply album it does not take in here. Enjoy your day..
ReplyDeletethat is why I don't use it...and the fact it wants to upload all 3000 pictures from my computer

wow. . .
ReplyDeleteI love the way u cropped it... What a focal pt...thanks for visiting mine.
ReplyDeletebeautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's just gorgeous Milli and I can totally understand your fascination with it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice display and an excellent photograph.
ReplyDeleteHowever-----
I thought the one without the frame, larger, looked brighter than one in the frame, smaller.
So --- I measured it with a Densitometer, Colour Meter.
I used the highlight on the right hand centre pearl and expected higher reading because the picture is smaller. The lower picture is brighter, more density, than the top
Conclusion? The eye gets confused with the frame.
My readings Top R.99.1 Green.99.2 Blue. 98.6
Bottom R.99.6 Green.99.6 Blue. 99.6
Beautiful Treasure... and just in time for the Oscars! lol
