This Week's Picture Perfect Theme is:
Gossamer.
The Gossamer of life
Fairy wings,
And spider silk
Jupiter's rings
Gossamer is many things
The gauze fabric over the crib
To stop the mosquitoes from getting in
Sheer and fine
Gossamer is hard to define
I once used a Gossamer hair spray
To hold my hair and make it stay.
~
Below is my picture perfect for today.
The black fairy witch's fine black wings are on display.

Very nice and creative. I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteTo answer a couple of queries here. The photo was taken by myself in March this year at a fancy dress Birthday bash. I loved the gauzy black wings and asked the lady in the costume to hold for a moment while I took a photo. She obliged and I took the photo above first shot in normal and then the second shot of her wings from behind. The last shot I altered in Flickr edit. I think it is called Piknik. The original; Photo has been inverted and this is the result. The ladies sleeve on the right of the photo left as you view it has the look of spider web's and this effect has captured that too. All in all Gossamer feel.
ReplyDeleteNice gossamer effects and very original
