Broken Sun Light peeks through from behind Broken Pylons
My take on the theme this week uses the theme as broken sun light cascading through the broken pylons of an old jetty sitting on the shore line facing out to sea. The photo also shows how this section of the beach is a photographers haven because at any time of the day you are sure to capture a spectacular photograph. The tripod sits waiting for another wonderful sunset and I took the shot using my trusty old Ricoh digital camera. Because of the angle of the photo I was more focused on my foreground and those wonderful golden beams touching the sand, water and rocks in front of me.

Hi Milli - great photo! I've always admired this one. I love the camera on the tripod part way up the beach! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll be looking for something for a photo this week as well - just haven't thought of one yet! Take care!
I see five rays of light shining through. Reminds of an every now and then thing I see in the sky when it nears dusk as the sun lowers and streams of light pour out in ray's of five's ... I call it the fingers of God, reaching out to us all.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo, Milli ... Huggers 8=)
Milli as usual you have out done yourself. Great take for this weeks theme. Thanks for stopping by mine and for your comments.
ReplyDeleteAh sunset, this is beautiful. Love the light and shadow that plays on the wet sand. Yes, the view is broken because of those pylons. I havent found one that coincides with the idea of what I wanted to show.

Lovely take on the theme,,very pretty
ReplyDeleteThank you to everyone who has stopped by to either view or comment on my photo here. The photo is taken south of Adelaide, South Australia on the coast. The Coastal Town is called Pt Willunga. The old jetty is now just a skeleton of what was once a hive of local activity. Very historic. The beach faces to the west making it a wonderful place for Sunset Photos over the sea.

That's very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you my friends for your encouragement here and the photo was nominated in 3rd position from the top ten out of more than 200 photos. May the golden sun-rays always shine through your day even if it is the broken sunlight that touches you gently and castes those golden rays over your being. See it as "you have been touched by natures Wealth.

Wow..beautiful! Congrats on the nomination!
ReplyDeleteHahaha...I had that feeling I have stood in front of those leftover jetty posts and when I saw your shot of the whole view, my suspicion grew, I had to ask the hubbie where Port Willunga is, and what do you know! I have pictures of them, too, but not digital yet. Must have left them in the Philippines. Anyway, I had to come back and share...G'dday!!! ;-)
