Picture Perfect: Fragile

This week in Picture Perfect I present my own photo of my Small Fragile Franklin Porcelain Valentine's Heart: Circa 1981, with a poem I wrote last year Entitled:

Fragile Hearts

Fragile Hearts

*Handle with Care.

 

When we hold the heart of the loved one dear
We hold in our heart both passion and fear
The heart is a fragile vessel of love
For the purest of love, it comes from above
Hold on to it lightly, never too tight
Lest the heart of the lover ever takes flight
To love and to hold, in the most gentle way
Keeps the fragile heart of the lover to stay
Safe in your keeping as yours is in theirs
Hearts held gently, can last through the years.

    Reminds me of all the various knick-knacks my mother had. Each one to her was special, each unique ... for she did so "handle with care".

    Nice keepsake you have and the poem is built for this. Very good.

    Now, I have to go outside shortly and take a photo. Huggers 8=)

    on this i had to place an incident concerning heart.
    after my by pass surgery one of my lady subordinate of the bank visited my bed and cried to me. As it was unstoppable i had to console her saying
    "look, vidhya, i am happy i proved to one and all i have a heart, you all used to say i was stone hearted to suck you work, but now they say it is fluid with blood"

    yes darling sis i have a heart and i have handled your heart presented above very delicately and more than that returning to india without damaging i suppose so?

    I had a porcelin box that a girl gave me one ... it was special, for she had put a picture of her and I in it ... we grew and grew up and grew apart ... the box broke when I was moving ... I gatherred the shards and put them in a small box ... and kept them for a long time, before moving on ... awesome picture and wonderful poem ... nothing surpasses love! ... 9 woofs!
