Picture Perfect~~Song Title.

Did you guess?

Picture Perfect this week is a song title from a single image taken by the participant.

My image here is probably as disturbing in its background as the original song lyrics portray. The image I took when visiting Sarah Island in Tasmania.

Sarah Island was a penal colony. An isolated island where inmates were kept in seclusion from society for crimes that were by today's standards mediocre.

The hand made brick depicted above was lying abandoned on a heap of rubble. These bricks are imprinted by their makers and even after all this time they remain intact and appealing all though they were the off shoot of a degrading society.

Let us keep our children well educated in life and moving forward in their uniqueness with potential for betterment in all societies.

Our Children are Our Future 'Our Bricks in Societies Walls.'

  6. Good to remember..How ironic that prisoners made the bricks of their prison. Kind of like philosophy, too, the way we build our own reality & then inhabit it. Very Nice! I've got one for you!

  8. Well, for some reason, my blog won't accept my text--photos & video yes, words from me, no. Is this some kind of a message from the Blogoverse, perhaps?? If so, I will accept it & move on. Have a wonderful summery day, Milli!
