Picture Perfect~~Contrast

1. 1. The act of contrasting; a setting off of dissimilar entities or objects.

5. The difference in brightness between the light and dark areas of a picture, such as a photograph or video image.
6. Linguistics. A difference between units, especially one that distinguishes meaning.

The photo above can be seen also in my photos of Melbourne. This is a museum contained in a huge modern cage. Quite amazing from both inside and out. I hope you like my Picture Perfect for this week because at times it seems almost impossible for me to choose from the many photos I have on my pc and in my own collection. Although I have used this image before, it still strikes me as a huge contrast in shapes, form, colours and even in the materials used. Old kiln bricks against solid new age steel.
