Images&Words # Week 30~ Pot luck

A bit of fun this week as we get into celebration mode..

Images & Words

Pot Luck

Photobucket

Photo taken in an old barn dressed up for a wedding which we were fortunate to attend last weekend.

I loved this feature on the old stone and rendered wall and it has been a fun photo to work with. Some more fun photos to come soon from this unique and gorgeous old homestead.

Mia does a great job with her birds...birds I too also love to photograph. They can be very skittish though.

  7. Ten brown bottles hanging from their string.
Nine brown bottles the door bell did ring
Eight brown bottles along came a mate
Seven brown bottles and we await our fate.
Six brown bottles were quiet unfair.
Five Brown bottles? Yes I had my share.
Four brown bottles I could hear her voice
Three Brown bottles left no choice.
Two brown bottles left one for each ear
No brown bottles I'm past feeling fear.
    Hic, have a snice fay.

  13. We arrived home this afternoon. Tired but safe. Greeted by snow about 50 or 60 miles out but warm enough that travel wasn't hampered. Looking forward to the rest of the great photos you took at the old barn.

  15. Very cool picture. I like the stone and the dark color of the bottles against it, and the poem is a fun accompaniment.

Thanks for visiting mine and for the warm welcome.
